You are welcome as you are, for who you are!
At High River United, we seek to be
a Spiritual Hub for the community.
People of all faiths or no particular faith
are invited to engage their hearts, minds and spirits in some of the many spiritual practices we offer. As you wish, come
- place a written prayer on the prayer wall
- join in a calligraphy or photography day retreat
- sit in the sanctuary or chapel for your own quiet time
- enjoy the Inspiration Garden in the green space out back
- ask for a Prayer Shawl to give to someone you know who needs to be wrapped in loving support
- share in a Simple Supper (3rd Wednesday of most months at 5:30 pm - no cost)
- sit in our Adirondack chairs out front and watch life in the downtown
- strum with our ukulele group or sing with our choir
- join us for a concert or for Sunday worship
Come, for we seek to make room for us to meet God, to rekindle hope, to experience
self-emptying love, and to face the shadowed side of our humanness with the
light of grace. We seek to allow justice and mercy and healing to be set loose in the
world through us. Come find sanctuary and sacred space with us!
