We welcome the whole family to join in worship, whatever your family make-up is.

Every member of our church family from newborn to elder is a valued part of our community. The church is one of the few places in our society where children can experience being in a multi-generational community. So many of our children’s activities are formed around peer age groups, but at church, children have the opportunity to have friends of all ages. Some of the most wonderful friendships form as preschoolers adopt a new grandma or grandpa sitting in church beside them. There are no shortage of willing arms to hold a newborn, giving mom and dad a few minutes break.

Sunday Morning Children’s & Youth Worship 

In the sanctuary, at the front by the piano, there is a rug space and a table with toys, puzzles, colouring sheets, and more that children are welcome to use during the portion of worship in which they are in the sanctuary with everyone. 

 Children and Youth of all ages are invited to participate in our Sunday Worship program. We share in the first 15-20 minutes of the worship service before moving to the Children’s Worship space to continue our worship. Our children’s programming is based on the Godly Play model and focuses on creating the space for young people to spend time with God and to make the stories of scripture their own.  The format for most Sundays for Children & Youth:

 -Welcome, getting to know each other's names, sometimes a song.

 -a story told in Godly Play format - inviting the young people to interact with the characters and the story and to answer "I wonder" questions about the story

 -stations where the young people can create or explore with a variety of materials.  Sometimes we have a specific activity we work on together.

-Closing with prayer and sometimes a song
