Study Groups: 2022

Study groups on a variety of faith related topics are held throughout the year. Sometimes these are day long or weekend workshops, and sometimes they are held weekly for 6-8 weeks.

We encourage your questions and ideas as we explore together. We love the questions. We love the exploration. We believe that as we talk, discuss and pray together we discover more of God’s spirit and message than we could alone.

Who or… What is God like for you?  You are invited to join Elaine Mansfield and David Robertson for a 5 week journey of discovery as we consider the many ways God is made known to us.  We’ll explore some of the many images of God as they appear in the Biblical Texts.  We’ll check in with medieval Christian mystic Meister Eckhart to see how he came to simply “be” with God.  We’ll also reflect on how our appreciation of God shapes the way we live.  This is just the beginning of a contemplative approach to knowing and being with God.

We will gather by Zoom for five Thursday afternoons at 2:00 PM

beginning on January 27th and concluding on February 24th.
