March Learn & Share Night - Wednesday, March 29, 6:00 – 9:00 pm Leader will be Annie Froese
These nights are open to anyone who is interested in exploring the world of art and calligraphy. You do not require any experience. If you are new to the group, just come out and we will lend you supplies for your first night. Everyone pays $5. Drop in fee. Children/youth are very welcome (no charge for youth) We do ask that children 10 and under be accompanied by an adult.
Our activity for March 29: We will be revisiting the ‘Barbara Close’ style VERSAL letters. Folks had so much fun working on these at the Feb. Learn & Share so Annie will be showing us some more techniques. These letters are first drawn with a pencil) and then we will show you various ways to go back in an embellish them.
Here is a list of what to supplies to bring (if you have them.)

PAPER that will accept a light wash; watercolour paper or Arches text wove work great.

If you have a good quality sketchbook you may opt to work in it.

An X-acto knife

Craft cutting board if you have one

Scissors

Watercolour palette or gouache, or Finetec paints
-
A medium and small round brush
-
Pencil crayons and/or felts.

Watercolour pencils or watercolor pencil crayons are fun too

A fine point black permanent pen.

Water container
-
Basics: pencil, ruler, eraser
Optional Bling: Finetec or sparkly paints, glitter, stickers, stickles, etc
