A Blessing of the Backpacks

Children, Youth & Teachers! Bring your school backpack or book bag or briefcases….. 

– and we’ll bless you and your backpack (and all it represents) for the year ahead. 

We’ll be sharing communion and lighting prayer candles and many other activities in worship.

You are all in our hearts and prayers as you begin a new school year in a school or with home-schooling and in various activities.

We know that there is excitement as well as some worries and fears mixed in.  It’s all natural.

May you know God’s love surrounding and supporting you as you embrace these days.
