SUMMARY:Buzzum Buddies

 ed by cancer, directly or through a loved one.  We gather at 10 am, on the 
 last Friday of every month for coffee and visiting in the church parlour. W
 e also phone each other for support whenever needed.\n\n\n \n\n\nAt our gat
 herings, we pass around a stuffed frog we’ve affectionately named ‘Buddy’. 
   Whoever has Buddy in her hands has our undivided attention while she shar
 es as much or as little as she wishes. It is a confidential, warm, supporti
 ve process. Those who have been long time cancer survivors continue to atte
 nd the group to support and companion newly diagnosed patients who need a p
 lace to be heard. We do not give advice - we simply listen and share our st
 ories to encourage each other wherever we are on our journey.\n\n\nAll wome
 n are welcome to join our group.\n\n\nYou do not need to be a member of the
  church to attend.\n
