We have an empty cross hanging at the front of the church.  What does it mean?

This Sunday morning at 10:00 am, Rev. David will talk about how we can understand the cross as a profound symbol of our faith, without thinking of God as a Sin Accountant who demanded payment of our "sin" debt" or as a Divine Child Abuser who killed the innocent Jesus because God was mad at the rest of us for messing up.  God's final word is always love - and that is what was spoken on the cross.
