A Message to Connect - March 31, 2020
Good Morning Everyone,
We continue this journey together – while apart.
We are learning new things about what is important in life, what we miss the most and how to stay connected.
In today’s reading from Colossians 3: 12-17, the line that stands out is the first:
Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness and patience.
While we, as followers of Jesus, often think of using these gifts to bless others,
today, I invite you to allow these gifts to be a blessing for your self.
Be compassionate and kind to yourself. Be gentle and patient with yourself.
Many of us may not be acting like ourselves – we might be more forgetful and more frustrated.
So be compassionate and kind to yourself. Be gentle and patient with yourself.
God’s love enfolds all of our fears, frustration and forgetfulness; God loves us just as we are.
With all of our love and blessings,
Rev. Susan & Rev. David
