Our crafty women in TLC have been asked to support an orphanage in Nairobi, Kenya which shelters young girls. The contact was made by a friend of Sarah’s who volunteers at the orphanage. At present, each little girl is assigned a cot and one blanket. The hope is that TLC could make sheeting sleeping bags which would allow for regular washing and be more comfortable in Kenya’s hot climate. In order to raise funds to buy sheeting, TLC will host a garage sale at the church Sept. 23.

We are trusting our congregation to help with this. Donations are always appreciated. They can be dropped off at the church Thursday, September 21, 9 am – 4 pm.  

Please… no computers, computer parts, large furniture, baby seats or sports equipment.
