This Sunday we will celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. On October 31,1517 Martin Luther posted the challenge on the door of the church in Wittenberg, Germany - which led to the formation of the Protestant (or protesting) church. This is our roots as the United Church of Canada.

Our annual "Hola Mexico" Soup & Bun Social raises funds for the Christmas party at L'Estacion community centre in Cuernavaca, Mexico. We have had a long relationship with this very poor community. We hope you will stay and enjoy a bowl of tortilla soup and delicious corn bread after the service. Please see the sign up sheet on the flip chart if you can help with this event.
