This is a companioning sister-ship group for women who have been affected by cancer, directly or through a loved one.  We gather at 10 am, on the last Friday of every month for coffee and visiting in the church parlour. We also phone each other for support whenever needed.

At our gatherings, we pass around a stuffed frog we’ve affectionately named ‘Buddy’.   Whoever has Buddy in her hands has our undivided attention while she shares as much or as little as she wishes. It is a confidential, warm, supportive process. Those who have been long time cancer survivors continue to attend the group to support and companion newly diagnosed patients who need a place to be heard. We do not give advice - we simply listen and share our stories to encourage each other wherever we are on our journey. All women are welcome to join our group. You do not need to be a member of the church to attend.
