Watercolour Techniques Review

We’ll review watercolour techniques à la Karin Huehold. If you’ve never painted before, you’ll learn lots of skills in a no-pressure setting. If you have painted before, this class could inspire you to pick up your brush again!
Expect to leave with at least six pieces that are either frameworthy, or that you want to turn into a card.
Bring:
- watercolour paints & brushes
- 140 lb paper in small sizes – 3”x5”, 4”x6”…
ONLY Arches or Winsor & Newton – NOT Strathmore, Canson, Daler Rowney, etc.
Arches paper will be available for sale.
- water jar
- paper towels
- ¼ & ½ inch masking tape
- a spritz bottle for water
Bring these - only if you have them – we’ll share!
- palette knife
- x-acto knife and cutting mat
- toothbrush
- black pens (micron & gel)
- pointed pen (nib pen)
- Elegant Writer pen
- wax sticks
- white gouache
Also bring
- $25 for the church
- Something for the potluck lunch (optional)
- A coffee mug
Doors open at 9:00, please arrive by 9:15 to set up your supplies so we can start right at 9:30.
