Today - March 31 ...”How Shall we Pray” ....aloud,standing,sitting,walking etc .
Worship for all ages - Sundays 10:00 to 11:20 am
Join us for worship that is a mix of traditional and contemporary, music, storytelling, sermon and more… then gather for coffee, tea and fellowship immediately following the service.
Starting Sunday, March 10rd & throughout Lenten Sundays
we will be exploring prayer with the theme,
You are what you pray!
The new Canada food guide is out and we’ve heard the
saying “You are what you eat!”
So we’re going to play with that and explore, “You are
what you pray!” Anxiety and stress are rampant in our
society, but we have ways to settle our stress and
worry that are rooted in our Christian tradition.
Throughout Lent, we’ll talk about what prayer is and
the various ways we can pray. Stay tuned for details
and try to come as many Sundays in Lent as possible
to get the “full meal deal”!
Children’s & Youth Worship ( ages 3-10 )
Children are invited to participate in our Children’s Worship program. Youth in Grade 5 and up have their own room in which to meet, just beside the Children’s Area. We share in the first 15-20 minutes of the worship service before moving to the Children’s Worship and Youth rooms to continue our worship. Our children’s programming is based on the Godly Play model and focuses on creating the space for young people to spend time with God and to make the stories of scripture their own. Youth work together to choose faith and life topics they wish to explore.
