Celebrating 1 year in our renewed church
home! Sunday,
July 5, 2009 marks
one year since our first service in this building. At the 10:00 am service, we’ll sing and pray and praise God for the wonder of one year. So much has changed since that day a year ago. So many new things have delighted and challenged us. The learning has been great as have the joys. Join in the service to celebrate where the Spirit has led us in this past year and to launch us into our 2nd year. _______________
In
celebration of our 1 year mark, you are invited to make a Thank Offering
in
addition to your regular offering.
So many people helped us create our renewed home, we want to
invite you to make a donation to Rowan House,
a woman’s shelter, to help them build their home.
Special envelopes marked “Thank you” will be available for
this offering. Cheques
will be receipted as will donations marked with your name and address
or your offering envelope number. __________
The
best Fall Fair, EVER! A team is
being formed to plan the best fall fair yet. If you would like to
be part of this team, please talk to Mel in the office or Joy at
652-7870. Our

summer the library is open Monday – Thursday, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
with Rev. David
Robertson Rev. David is partnering
with ministry colleagues in A sample of places included
will be the city of the sound and light show at
the pyramids, climbing Mt. Sinai, visiting Wadi
Rum and Petra, entering Israel
from the north, visiting the regions of Capernaum,
Nazareth, Caesarea
Philippi, Qumran, a
Kibbutz, Masada, Bethlehem
and Jerusalem. Approximate pricing for this 19 day tour will be $6500-$7000/person (not
firm until the Fall, 2009) including airfare, very comfortable
accommodation, 2 meals per day, all gratuities, tours, entry fees,
professional guide and more. Space will be limited. Please
indicate your interest to Rev. David. He is beginning to establish a preliminary list of passengers who are
expressing intention at this time. Shalom!
